DESCRIPTION:Daniel Heckenberg\, ASWF Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) Chair\, will be giving a talk during Session #2 on: \n\nASWF Technical Advisory Committee: How to Enable an Open Source Community\nThe Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) coordinates technical efforts in the Academy Software Foundation (ASWF). Launched in August 2018\, the ASWF’s purpose is to support open source software development in the motion picture content creation industry. Software engineers from the Foundation’s members and software projects form the TAC. It plays a key role in establishing and promulgating best practices\, proposing and scrutinizing candidate projects and establishing shared resources such as Continuous Integration infrastructure. \n\nThe Digital Production Symposium (DigiPro 2019) brings together the world’s premier creators of digital visual effects\, animation\, and interactive experiences. Scientists\, engineers\, artists\, and producers share ideas\, insights\, and techniques that bring innovation to real-world production.
